Peter Barsoom to join Advisory Board

London, October 6, 2014 – Clarus Financial Technology today announced the appointment of Peter Barsoom to its Advisory Board.

Amir Khwaja, CEO Clarus Financial Technology explains, “As we grow we want to attract high caliber individuals with deep industry experience and relationships to help in building the pre-eminent software technology provider in a post-reform world; a world of new market infrastructure requirements”.

“Peter brings to Clarus a proven track record and excellent experience in Capital Markets gained at some of the worlds premier financial firms. We are extremely pleased that he will join our new Advisory Board as its first member and believe his knowledge will be valuable in guiding us on our journey. In time we plan to add more Advisory Board members”.

Peter’s prior positions include President of ICE Swap Trade, where he was responsible for the Swap Execution Facility and credit execution business at ICE. Peter also served as Chief Operating Officer of ICE Clear Credit, the wholly-owned credit default swap (CDS) clearing house. Prior to joining ICE, Mr. Barsoom was the Deputy Chief Operating Officer at Blue Mountain Capital Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Mr. Barsoom has held a variety of senior management positions in the financial services industry.
